Who can submit

Indie, traditionally published, hybrid, or some tangled combination across your own backlist. Readers do not sort by publisher and neither do we. If you hold the rights, or you are authorized to act for whoever does, submit the book. Same free listing, same author page, same catalog. Publicists, assistants and publishers are welcome to submit on an author’s behalf.

We list romance across every subgenre in our catalog and every heat level from Sweet to Scorching. The one hard rule is that what you send us for display, your cover, your blurb, your excerpt, has to be suitable for general audiences. The book behind the door is your business. The storefront we build for it stays all-audiences.

Before you start

There are no author accounts here, which means no password to forget and no dashboard to learn. It also means the forms are the whole process, so it is worth having everything in front of you before you begin. It takes two steps: create your author page first, then add your books to it, one at a time, in the same sitting if you like.

The form takes one book at a time and clears itself after each submission, so if you have a backlist, you can work through the whole thing in one sitting. Your author details live on your author page and never need entering twice.

A word about tagging honestly

Choose the tropes your book actually delivers, not the ones that are trending this month. Padding the list does not widen your reach. It just puts your book in front of readers who wanted something else, and those readers write reviews.

The same goes for heat level. A mislabeled book earns you the wrong reader every single time. Accuracy here is marketing, not modesty.

Once you are listed

Share your pages. Put them in your newsletter, your link in bio, your back matter, your socials. Every reader you send here discovers the catalog, and every reader the catalog brings in discovers you.
That loop is the whole point, and it spins faster the more authors push it.

Yes, just not directly, since there are no accounts to log into. Use the Update My Information form and we will make the change on our side. That covers your author page, your photo, your bio, your links, and corrections to any book listing.

You choose it yourself, on a five-point scale: Sweet, Warm, Steamy, Hot, or Scorching. Definitions are on the form. Readers use heat level to find the experience they are looking for, so an accurate rating puts your book in front of the right people.

They are two separate things. You can select up to three subgenres and up to six tropes for each book, and you should use only the ones your book genuinely delivers.

You warrant that you hold all rights to everything you submit, and listing decisions are at our sole editorial discretion. We do not label, certify or investigate anyone’s process. The full language is in the Terms of Submission.

Amazon is the primary buy link, and we also link Bookshop.org. You can optionally add Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, and Google Play.

For transparency: our Amazon and Bookshop.org links carry affiliate tags, so the platform may earn a small commission on sales. This costs you and your readers nothing, and it is part of how the catalog stays free.

Yes. Alongside your newsletter signup you can add links to a free download, an ARC signup, a street team, or a preorder, on your author page and on individual book pages. If a campaign has an end date, tell us and the link will retire itself when it closes, so your page never points at something that has finished.

Submit ahead of your release date so the listing is live when the book is. Release timing runs on Eastern time. Submitting early also gives us the chance to include it in our weekly email, which cannot feature a book it does not know about.

Sometimes, and when we do it is clearly labeled. Our own titles never appear in the neutral spotlight features.

Paid placements are available and are always labeled as sponsored. They never affect whether a book is accepted into the free catalog, and they are never sold inside editorial features. Details are on the Promote With Us page.
