How we handle disclosure
Every paid placement is labeled as sponsored, clearly, every time it appears. We do not blur paid and editorial, we never mix them in the same row, and no amount of money buys an editorial feature or a better position in search results on this site.
This is not us being precious. A reader who cannot tell the difference between what we love and what somebody bought stops trusting either one, and then the placement you bought is worth nothing. Clear labeling is what keeps this inventory valuable.
